1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Sleeper Hit Studio website and services (the "Service"), operated by Sleeper Hit Studio ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Sleeper Hit Studio provides online screenwriting courses, mentorship programs, community access, and related educational content through a subscription-based model with tiered membership pricing.

3. Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to our courses and mentorship programs requires a paid subscription. All prices are listed on the site for the applicable plan and billing interval. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on the plan you select.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Membership Pricing

We may offer a free tier, paid memberships, and early-adoption pricing for select plans. By selecting a membership, you agree to pay the listed amount on the recurring schedule you have chosen. Pricing and plan availability may change over time.

6. Intellectual Property

All course content, videos, materials, and other intellectual property provided through the Service are owned by Sleeper Hit Studio and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

You retain full ownership of any original creative work (screenplays, outlines, treatments, etc.) that you produce during the course of your participation in our programs.

7. Code of Conduct

As a member of our community, you agree to treat fellow members, mentors, and staff with respect. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in harassment, hate speech, or other conduct that we deem harmful to our community.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sleeper Hit Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
